A]About Department

          The college introduced Physics education at BSc level in order to keep pace with the fast changing scenario of the global education in the last decade of the twentieth century. Since the college is situated in the rural area where students hail from the economically as well as socially backward background, so keeping in mind their educational upliftment at par with the other students of metropolitan background, the college is set to make them Physics literate.

The Physics Laboratory of YDVD Arts,Commerces Science College, Tiosa was inaugurated on 23th July, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. The inauguration was done by our Principal Dr. N. J. Mesharam. Physics Department has a well equipped, spacious, Physics Lab. It has excellent infrastructure.
It has qualified, experienced, energetic faculty members who are passionate about teaching profession. In order to develop interest about Physics in students’ mind and to motivate them to gain the knowledge, we conducted various activities in the academic year 2020-2021.

Objectives

It is the hypothesis of the college to make our students conscious of what is happening around them owing to the storming expansion of basic Physics based knowledge. We are leaving no stone unturned to instill in our students their social commitment of preparing the software capable of catering the needs of the rural requirements. And it would be a blue ribbon for our college if we succeed in reaching out to the last person of our society.

Department Glance

The department of physics,ydvd art, comm and science collage Tiusa dist- amravati organished a guest lecture on keplers laws of planetary motion on 5th february 2019. The guest speaker was prof.G.B.Harde sir feom shri R.R.lahoti science collage morshi.
Our principal Dr.N.J.Meshramarm welcome to Dr.G.B.Harde.he praised his work and for sharinghis knowledge expressed his view as he was visiting a every week to our YDVD collage and delivesed lecture on different topic of physics subject.
In his lecture,Dr Harde sir discuss the basic of kepler's laws and theory principles. He also introduced their studeny of the problem that can be solved using different method, providing exclusive exmples. He shared his own expriences on working laser he challenges and risks he faced and expensive R and D project and rigid highly structured innovation processes.

Outcome of the guest lecturer

. Student gained an experience of how real problems can be dealt with, through Kepler's laws derived sources.
. The lecturer helped in enhancing their working skills.
. The student learnt the latest techniques and embraced ideas of interdisciplinary thinking and performance in projects.
. Student acquired knowledge about kepler's law of planetary motion and gained ideas to work in a learning environment.
. This lecturer motivated the students to enjoy their academic sessions on Kepler's law motion, as it is a part of syllabus.

Maximum capacity of intake students is 120.

Eligibility :- The basic cource eligibility is to have at least 60% in class 12 science from any recognized board.
